Housekeeping Manager- Ocean City

Elevate Cleans is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager.  This position maintains the brands presentation standards.  It is responsible for assisting and overseeing the cleanliness and appearance of all assigned resort units.  It addresses all guests’ concerns in regards to property standards; providing feedback as needed to the Housekeeping team, as needed.

 

Position Goals and Responsibilities:

  • This position is responsible for promoting the Elevate Cleans brand, through upholding brand standards; establishing a high standard of excellence and expectation:
    • Assist Housekeeping team with the following tasks, while inspecting quality of work:
      • Clean all bathrooms, kitchens, common areas, and bedrooms
      • Make all beds
      • Maintain flooring in all assigned units; including cleaning, polishing, and vacuuming
      • Prepare linens needed in units
      • Complete unit detailing: dusting, polishing of furniture, cleaning of baseboards, hanging drapery, and placing sectional rugs
      • Maintain window maintenance: washing all windows, including sills
      • Dispose of all waste in the appropriate area
      • Conduct daily/weekly unit inspections, when needed
      • Take unit inventory and replenish necessary items
      • Report any damage to manager immediately
      • Assist with training and coaching housekeepers on all assigned duties and quality standards
      • Offer great customer service, when applicable

 

  • Inspect all units assigned to the team to ensure cleaning and maintenance standards have been met

 

  • Provide a variety of administrative and miscellaneous support to assist the Regional Manager, including but not limited to:
    • Payroll Spreadsheets
    • Supply orders
    • Scheduling and unit assignments

 

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position all candidates must have the following:

  • High School Diploma, General Education Degree (GED),  or Hospitality Certificate, preferred
  • 2-3 years experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager in a hotel or resort setting and/or training, or an equivalent of education and experience
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Reliable Communication (Cell Phone)
  • Open Availability (nights, weekends, holidays, and on-calls)
  • Spanish Speaking applicants preferred, but not required
