The Business Intelligence Analyst provides reporting, analytics and insights to our operations across multiple entities. The analyst will be providing key data allowing entity leaders to operate efficiently and drive optimal operational and financial results and execute with alignment to business strategy and customer profitability goals while evaluating business analytics and pricing strategies at both the strategic and tactical levels. This position makes an impact through the design, querying and presentation of data and analytics to business stakeholders across the Enterprise.

  • Reviews market trends, customer data and profitability analytics to uncover opportunity insights, ensure the reasonableness of findings and seek cross-functional input in business and pricing development strategies.
  • Develops ad-hoc and recurring reports, queries and presentations based upon business need through direct request or guidance, as well as independent identification of areas of opportunity.
  • Builds core analytics processes and tools that can be leveraged in trending and forecasting multiple entities and presents viable analysis and recommendations. That create value driven opportunities.
  • Drives the development of innovative and strategic pricing methodologies.
  • Understands and anticipates the impact of market conditions, field response and competitive response in support of pricing strategies and overall business decisions.
  • Clearly, articulates and reinforces various strategies throughout the organization.
  • Maintains strong communication across the Enterprise.
  • Develops, introduces and drives data-driven SOPs, guidelines, and tools for the entities that guide pricing strategy and scenario impact models.
  • Leads annual review of current pricing strategies and development of recommendations for next calendar year.
  • Establishes and maintains competitive portfolio price database.
  • Presents results from large and/or complex data sets in a coherent and clear format, tailored for the audience as appropriate.
  • Works closely with System Developers to translate the needs of business into end-user functionality.
  • Acts as the 'translator' where necessary to incorporate how information technology can support the organization's needs.
  • Provides ad hoc opportunity analysis as required.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 7(+) years of relative professional experience, or, 5(+) years of hospitality industry experience.
  • Extensive and proven ability to perform advanced analysis
  • Demonstrates knowledge of broader set of business economic, intelligence and analytic techniques
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and effectively influence and partner
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver
  • Detailed oriented, organized and analytical. Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
  • Ability to drive projects to successful completion
  • Strong system skills with ability to quickly develop expertise in new systems and applications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Advanced Excel, Database, Microsoft Office, Access and/or other data analysis applications
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
